Interesting Fact: Ronald Reagan once lost a movie role because he "didn't have the presidential look". Bony lost the lead in our High School's presentation of "Annie" one year for a similar reason, but made up for it by performing the play in a one man show out side the school every night that the play was performed. Personally I thought his voice was as flat as his chest and his dance moves were whack (he declined complimentary lessons, saying that his body would just "know what to do" once he had the dress on). He received little publicity, and a great deal of people's play experience was ruined thanks to him, though he still cites this time as "one of the most glamorous events of his life".

Rest Day 100404

"To be sure, the doctrine of a personal God interfering with natural events could never be refuted, in the real sense, by science, for this doctrine can always take refuge in those domains in which scientific knowledge has not yet been able to set foot. But I am persuaded that such behavior on the part of the representatives of religion would not only be unworthy but also fatal. For a doctrine which is able to maintain itself not in clear light, but only in the dark, will of necessity lose its effect on mankind, with incalculable harm to human progress."
